Panaji: Mhadei Bachao Andolan (MBA) today demanded white paper to know the efforts put in by the State government to protect diversion of water from River Mhadei.
Speaking to reporters, MBA coordinator Subhash Velingkar charged that BJP government has surrendered Goa’s interest before party interest on Mhadei issue.
He said that government’s attempts so far have been very bogus.
“Its high time now that we demand that government comes out with white paper so that the people know the steps initiated by them to ensure that Mhadei river water is not diverted,” he said.
