Panaji: All India Trinamool Congress (AITC) has appointed Goa’s former Chief Minister Luizinho Faleiro as party’s National Vice President.
AITC National General Secretary Abhishek Banerjee, in a press release, has said that Chairperson of All India Trinamool Congress (AITC) Mamata Banerjee takes great pride in appointing Luizinho Faleiro as the National Vice President of All India Trinamool Congress with immediate effect.
“In a political career spanning over four-decades, the former Goa Chief Minister, Luizinho Faleiro has worked ardently towards the development of people. We have full faith that under his able guidance, AITC will reach greater heights and continue the fight to protect every Indian Citizen’s democratic rights.”
Faleiro had quit the Congress party recently and also resigned as Member of Legislative Assembly (MLA) to join the AITC.
The AITC has announced their foray in upcoming Goa Legislative Assembly election, scheduled in February 2022.
