Panaji: Goa’s coronavirus caseload went up by 527 and reached 60,229 on Wednesday, a health department official said.
The death toll mounted to 840 as two of the patients succumbed to the infection during the day, he said.
The number of recovered patients in the state rose to 56,531 with 138 of them getting discharged on Wednesday. The number of active cases is now 2,858, the official said.
“With 2,639 new tests, the total number of tests conducted in the state has gone up to 5,60,905,” he added.
