Panaji: Goa IIT director Professor B K Mishra has challenged the Guleli village Panchayat’s decision to deny to grant no objection certificate (NOC) for the construction of a compound wall on the proposed IIT project land, before the Directorate of Panchayat.

This comes after the Guleli panchayat last week rejected NOC for the construction of compound wall.

The case will be heard on Friday by Directorate of Panchayat.

The Guleli villagers have also filed an intervention application seeking that they should be also made party to the case. The same has been accepted.
