Bambolim: While the kiosk vendors outside Goa Medical College and Hospital are patiently waiting for their rehabilitation, the beneficiaries under Deen Dayal scheme have began creating a mess.

All the kiosks outside GMCH were demolished last year as a part of widening of the road. PWD had taken up the work of rehabilitating displaced kiosk vendors.

GMCH kiosk vendors’ leader Inacio Domnick Pereira has said that four kiosks under Deen Dayal scheme have put up their stalls but has created the original mess which existed before the rehabilitation process was taken up.

Pereira pointed out that sheds have been constructed by these vendors creating the mess.

He pointed out that the formal complaint was lodged with Deputy Collector against these kiosks, who have also damaged the newly constructed stalls.

Pereira demanded that there should be action against these vendors.
