Panaji: After vehemently supporting Goa Taxi App, Transport Minister Mauvin Godinho has currently applied brakes to it.
IT Minister Rohan Khaunte had told reporters on Tuesday that the App is ready and now it is for the Transport Department to take it further. Godinho was scheduled to take up the issue in the State cabinet.
But before the cabinet meeting, Mauvin seems to be non-committal. He said that the App is ready but he would place it before the State Cabinet only after consulting the stakeholders like Taxi Operators.
He said that he would hold the meeting on December 26-27 and discuss about the App with the Taxi Operators.
