Panaji: Goa reported 41 per cent COVID-19 infection on Monday with 2174 new infections being reported during the day.
As per health department bulletin, a total of 2,174 people were tested positive on Monday taking the toll to 2,12,649.
Six persons died due to infection during the day, after which the death toll has touched 3563. The positivity rate was 41.52 per cent.
The number of recovered patients in the state rose to 187129 with 1592 of them getting discharged on Monday.
“With 5236 new tests, the total number of tests conducted in the state has gone up to 17,35,923,” he added.
