Panaji: The Goa Police Department in association with the JCI Bardez Bandhan and blood bank of GMC Bambolim organised a blood donation camp at the Goa Police GO Institute at Altinho.
The DGP Goa, IGP Goa, Dr. Sofia of GMC, Dr. Amol Tilve, Sec IMA attended the camp alonwith the personnel of the Goa Police Department.
Members of JCI Bardez Bandhan Co ordinated with the Police Department and the blood bank GMC in registration of the donors.
Besides the blood donor card each of the Police personnel who voluntarily donated blood were issued with certificates.
About 100 odd police personnel from all ranks-PCs to SP participated and voluntarily donated blood during the camp.
This initiative of the JCI Bardez Bandhan was organised at the Goa Police G O Institute by Shri Edwin Colaco, DySP Goa Police Welfare under close supervision of Shri Shekhar Prabhudessai, SP HQ Panaji.
