Goa govt extends curfew till June 21

Panaji: Goa government on Saturday announced the extension of state level curfew till June 21 with more relaxations in place.

Chief Minister Pramod Sawant on Saturday night announced the extension of curfew through a tweet.

“The Government has decided to extend State Level Curfew till 7 am, 21 June 2021. Shops, including in Panchayat and Municipal markets, may open between 7 am to 3 pm. Marriage function upto 50 persons have been permitted with the permission,” he tweeted.

“The detailed order will be issued by District Collectors,” he said in another tweet.

Earlier, the coronavirus induced curfew was extended till June 14 by the State government to break the chain of infection.
