Goa government delegation on mining reaches Delhi, speaks to Gadkari

Panaji:  Goa government’s delegation on mining has reached Delhi.

The delegation comprises of senior minister Sudin Dhavalikar, Rajya Sabha member of parliament Vinay Tendulkar, south Goa member of parliament Narendra Sawaikar and legislators Nilesh Cabral and Dipak Pawaskar.

“The delegation has met Gadkari in Delhi where they have discussed the issue with him. Gadkari knows about the crisis as he had attended a meeting in Goa on the same issue,” BJP MP Shripad Naik said.

He said that the delegation will also meet BJP President Amit Shah and Attorney General of India K K Venugopal during their Delhi visit.

“Goa government is doing whatever possible to resume the mining industry in the State. We are not leaving any stone unturned to ensure that the industry restarts,” Naik said.
