Two men arrested for raping three minor girls

Panaji: Goa police have arrested two men for raping three minor girls in a hotel in North Goa.

The incident happened on June 07 when parents of three minor girls, including two teenage sisters complained that their daughters were missing from the home in North Goa.

Police said that the girls are of eleven, thirteen and fifteen years respectively.

Two complaints were received on June 8 in which the parents said that their daughters, all living in the same building, had gone missing since the earlier day, June 7.

The parent of eleven year old girl suspected that their daughter may have gone with both the sisters.

Police spokesman said that the teams were formed and after developing information through reliable sources, all the three minors were rescued from two different hotel rooms at Calangute beach.

Two men Altaf Mujawar (19) and Om Naik (21) were arrested after rescuing the girls from the hotel room.

Police said that during the investigation, the victims stated that all three of them were sexually assaulted by these two men in two different rooms.

Police have booked both the men under BNS, POCSO Act and Goa Children’s Act for abduction and rape of minor girls.
