Panaji: The Goa Medical College and Hospital (GMC) Dean Dr Pradeep Naik today suspended services of its four staffers and terminated one contractual worker, for indiscipline. The disciplinary proceedings are orders against its four staffers.
Lower Division Clerks Gopal Gawas, Govind Chodankar, Laxmikant Gaude and Cashier are placed under suspension, while the service of its contractual worker Ankush Gawas is terminated with immediate effect.
Gawas, LDC attached to Plastic Surgery Department, is posted to TB and Chest Disease Hospital at St Inez. Chodankar, LDC from Radiology department, is transferred to Rural Health Centre, along with Gaude.
All the four are directed not to leave the headquarters without obtaining the prior permission of Dean.
