Panaji: Dr. Saba da Silva, Principal of VVM’s Govind Ramnath Kare College of Law, Margao-Goa has been appointed as the Dean of the Faculty of Law of the Goa University by an Order of the Registrar, Goa University. Having a teaching experience of over 20 years, including at the post-graduate level and being a Guide at the doctoral programme offered at the Research Centre of the College, he is a member of the Board of Studies in Law of the University. He has been a resource person for Workshops, Seminars and Conferences at the State, National and International level and has been a pioneer in entering into MoUs and cooperation agreements with several reputed institutions in India and abroad.
Dr. Saba has earlier qualified with M.Sc. in Medical Biochemistry from the Goa Medical College, obtained a Degree in Education and has worked as a Lecturer at the B.Sc. level and has also served as Chief Biochemist of the Directorate of Health Services of Government of Goa, before pursuing Legal Education and joining legal academics.
