Panaji: The District and Sessions Court, Margao on Friday stayed the order of conviction of the Judicial Magistrate First Class, Canacona passed recently in the criminal case filed against Ramesh Tawadkar.
The Appeal before the District & Sessions court was filed by Adv. Dharmanand Vernekar on behalf of Mr. Ramesh Tawadkar. The Ld. Trial court, Canacona had convicted Ramesh Tawadkar, under sections 352 and 506(ii) of IPC.
The District & Sessions court while staying the order of the JMFC, Canacona, has called for the records and proceedings of the Canacona court and listed the appeal on 23/12/2020 for arguments.
