Panaji: Goa’s coronavirus caseload went up by 97 and reached 50,981 on Wednesday, a health department official said.
The death toll touched 737 as two of the patients succumbed to the infection during the day, he said.
The number of recovered patients in the state rose to 49,313 with 114 of them getting discharge on Wednesday. The number of active cases is now 931, the official said.
“With 1961 new tests, the total number of tests conducted in the state has gone up to 3,97,386,” he added.
