Panaji: Goa’s coronavirus caseload went up by 79 and reached 53,717 on Thursday, a health department official said.
The death toll remained at 770 as two of the patients succumbed to the infection during the day, he said.
The number of recovered patients in the state rose to 52,165 with 56 of them getting discharged on Thursday. The number of active cases is now 782, the official said.
“With 1,938 new tests, the total number of tests conducted in the state has gone up to 4,58,068,” he added.
