Panaji:Total 524 new cases of COVID-19 infection was reported in Goa on Thursday, taking the total tally to 33,942.
The health department official said that 400 people were recovered on Thursday, after which 28,525 people have been declared as recovered by the state government.
In all 2,096 samples were tested of which 524 were tested positive, he said.
In all twelve people died on Thursday taking the death toll to 440 in the coastal state.
