Panaji: Goa’s coronavirus caseload went up by 47 and reached 55,073 on Tuesda , a health department official said.
The death toll remained at 796 as none of the patients succumbed to the infection during the day, he said.
The number of recovered patients in the state rose to 53,695 with 48 of them getting discharged on Tuesday. The number of active cases is now 582, the official said.
“With 1,554 new tests, the total number of tests conducted in the state has gone up to 4,96,089,” he added.
