Panaji: Goa’s coronavirus caseload went up by 78 and reached 53,263 on Friday, a health department official said.
The death toll touched 766 as one of the patients succumbed to the infection during the day, he said.
The number of recovered patients in the state rose to 51,755 with 103 of them getting discharged on Friday. The number of active cases is now 742, the official said.
“With 1,620 new tests, the total number of tests conducted in the state has gone up to 4,47,398,” he added.
