Complaint filed against Revolutionary Goans for violation of laws during four day protest

Panaji: Former MLA of Benaulim and Nuvem Constituency Francisco Xavier Pacheco has filed a complaint against Revolutionary Goans vis a vis the protest held by them from November 27 to 30. In his letter Pacheco has alleged that Revolutionary Goans have been using children as ‘captive audience’ during their padyatra rally. He also alleged that the protest on national highway 17 without seeking permission from the authorities.
“Revolutionary Goans are using children as “Captive Audience” in the Padayatra Rally. Participation in  rallies by children in itself is a threat to the children’s safety. Children are being lied to by the Revolutionary Goans for political purposes. Revolutionary Goans are bringing children to the Padayatra in an open arena and provoking children to dislike other political parties/ NGO’s other organizations,” he stated.
Pacheco also alleged that the Revolutionary Goans, conducted a rally on National Highway 17 (NH 17) without any permission. “Starting on November 27 from Patradevi checkpost to Kolvale, Kolvale to Panjim on November 28, on November 29 from Panjim to Agacaim they had permission from the authorities and again on November 30,  Agacaim  to KTC bus stand Margao no permission was sought from the authorities,” he stated.
Stating that the Revolutionary Goans violated Section 144 imposed in South Goa he wrote, “Rally on November 30, Agacaim  to KTC Bus stop Margao was held without any permission from the authorities in spite of Section 144 imposed in south Goa.”
4.Inciting Religious Disharmony and conducting Hate Speeches
He also alleged that Revolutionary Goans  are using religious conflicts as a front for a hidden political agenda. Please see the video and clips to see how they are inciting religious disharmony. “On 27th November the Revolutionary Goans stopped at a hindu temple in Patradevi  to pay respect where they were seen  seeking the blessings from God and watch the video when they reached Bambolim holy cross (known as Fulancho Khuris) they were showing disrespect for the cross by singing non religious songs, chanting slogans, not respecting and maintaining silence in a religious place of worship,” he stated.
Pacheco has further sought investigation into these allegations and demanded action against Revolutionary Goans.
