Panaji: The Ministry of Rural Development on Monday informed that cleaning and desilting of the 120 km Tillari Irrigation Project Canal under its flagship scheme Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Gaurantee Scheme (MGNREGA) in Bicholim, Pernem and Bardez Taluka under convergence with Water Resource Department.
The inauguration of the project will be held on October 20 at 9:30 am in the presence of Chief Minister Pramod Sawant, Minister of Rural Development Michael Lobo and Minister of Water Resources Filipe Neri Rodgrigues.
