Canacona: The Canacona Sports Academy & Goa Football Development Council Devabag centre organized a Children Football Festival on Saturday, 19/11/2022 at Devabag ground Canacona to promote local talent. Altogether football players from 4 schools participated in the same.
In the first football match St. Francis Xavier H.S., Bhatpal won against St. Anne’s institute Agonda by a solitary Goal scored by Kum. Nikeel Ferrao in the second half.
While in the 2nd match St. Anthony’s High School, Galgibag won against St. Tereza of Jesus High School, Chaudi by 3-0 goals. 2 Goals were scored by Kum. Naivedhya Parge and one goal scored by Kum. Vincent Mascarenhas.
St. Anthony High school will clash with St. Francis Xavier High school in the Finals.
The tournament was inaugurated by Janardhan Bhandari with kick off Rev. Fr. having an introduction with the players.
