Adv. Aires Rodrigues has today stated that astounding facts have now come to light regarding those blatant illegalities at the Assagao based Silly Souls Café & Bar allegedly run by the family of Union Women and Child Development Minister Smriti Irani.

Stating that Dale D’Gama, the Mumbai based eldest son of late Anthony D’Gama had today revealed to him that his now late dad was totally kept in the dark about the setting up of Silly Souls Café and Bar, Adv. Rodrigues has expressed the hope that the whole truth on this issue would now surface.

Pointing out that as Dale D’Gama has also stated that his late dad had not visited Goa for the last many years, Adv. Rodrigues has stated that it now has to be probed as to who had fraudulently signed all those papers from 2021 before the Excise Department, local Panchayat and other authorities to obtain all those illegal permissions and licences.

Adv. Rodrigues has further stated that as Survey No 236/21 on which the now controversial Silly Souls Café and Bar has been set up stands is in the name of the late Abel D’Gama, the father of late Anthony D’Gama, that the authorities should have ensured that the consent of the family of those three sisters of late Anthony D’Gama was obtained on record as they and their families are also by law legally entitled to a rightful share in their late dad Abel D’Gama’s property.
