29 out of 31 polled their votes for AICC Presidential poll in Goa

Panaji: In the election held for the post of All India Congress Committee President, total 29 out of 31 voters exercised their right on Monday in Goa.

A senior Congress leader said that three voters remained absent for the voting on Monday.

“Total 31 representatives from different blocks were eligible to vote for the elections today. 29 casted their vote,” a senior leader said.

Goa Pradesh Congress Committee President Amit Patkar was amongst the early voters for the election held at Congress Head Office in Panaji.

After casting his vote, Patkar tweeted, “Great feeling to cast my vote as delegate of @INCGoa from Curchorem constituency for the election of President of @INCIndia. I am sure that the Congress party will emerge stronger under the new National President across India.”
