Panaji: North Goa District Youth Congress Committee paid tribute to the martyrs of the agitating farmers who have lost lives during the protests at Delhi borders demanding the withdrawal of the draconian farm laws made by the BJP government at the centre. The tributes were paid at Azad Maidan, Panaji on Wednesday.
Also present were Youth Congress president Adv Varad Mardolkar, Goa State Incharge Akhilesh Yadav, North District president Vivek D’Silva, State General Secretaries Manoj Naik, Glean Cabral, Nerissa Fernandes, District office bearers, Assembly presidents and others.
A lot of farmers reportedly lost their lives in protesting against the farm laws in Delhi amidst the cold weather.
