Panaji: As a part of World Cancer Day celebrations, a three-day live cancer operative workshop was recently held at Krishna Cancer institute, Karad in association with Indian association Surgical Oncologist and Gokarma oncology association.
The event was inaugurated by Dr Bhonsle, chancellor of deemed university in the presence of Dr Shringare, Vice Chancellor, Dr Anil Dcruz, President, union for international cancer control, Geneva, Dr Shekhar Salkar, Gokarma Oncology Association, Dr Sharad Desai, Secretary, Gokarma Cancer Association and Indian association of surgical oncologist.
Dr Anil, Dr Shekhar, Dr Sharad, Dr Somshekhar ,Dr Dhiryasheel and Dr Amish Dalal were felicitated by the chancellor. All the doctors demonstrated different cancer surgery live.
The event came to an end with a plantation drive.
