Congress leader Girish Chodankar in his wishes to the society wrote “Best wishes to the Members of Society of Pillar on its 83rd Reorganisation Day. The society was founded in 1887 at Pillar Goa. When its members dwindled in early 1930s, only 6 new priests and 2 brothers reorganized it in July 1939. The society serves over 31 Dioceses in India and 8 overseas. It has served lakhs of people in India providing education, empowered youth with technical training, social projects, medical services across all religions.
Wishing the society greater efficiency and achievements in the years ahead.
