Governor releases Academic Magazine of Guardian Angel HSS

The annual academic magazine of Guardian Angel Higher Secondary School, Curchorem was released by Governor of Goa Adv. P.S. Sreedharan Pillai in the presence of Principal Fr. Walter Miranda and Teacher Girish Chodankar at the Raj Bhavan, Dona Paula on Thursday.

Governor stressed on post COVID assistance to students who had suffered psychological stress and were affected due to the pandemic.

Governor said that all educationist, government, teachers, parents and other stakeholders must work hand in hand to assist students manage this impact.

Principal Fr. Miranda praised and expressed his gratitude to the Governor for releasing the bulletin and said that it will enable their institution to achieve many more milestones.

“We are fortunate that our Governor who is a thinker, philanthropist, orator, scholar, writer and lawyer himself agreed to our request to release the magazine. For the last three years due to pandemic situation, students all over have gone through lot of stress and in order to overcome it as urged by the Governor, our institution has re-started all the co-curricular activities along with the academic studies and after a gap of three years we decided to release the magazine highlighting the activities and achievements for the academic year,” said Fr. Miranda.

He praised the governor for reaching out to the needy people by visiting various villages and initiating various humanitarian programs in Goa.

The magazine released consist of write ups, various activities conducted by the institution and achievements which will be presented to parents and students for their information.
