Vijai,Rohan ridicules CM Pramod Sawant over 100 per cent vaccine coverage claim

Panaji: The opposition MLAs on Monday ridiculed the announcement by Chief Minister Pramod Sawant over the 100 per cent vaccination with the first dose, after a local English newspaper carried news that more than 1,152 people took their first jab on Sunday.

Goa Forward Party President Vijai Sardesai tweeted “100% FRAUD. With repeated lies and falsehoods to mask the unpardonable incompetence of @GovtofGoa, @DrPramodPSawant challenges the common sense of #Goemkars who are now 100 % sure that this 100% nonsense has to be driven out of #Goa’s state boundaries with no chance of return.”

Independent MLA Rohan Khaunte tweeted “How come 1152 people undergo First Dose vaccination even after @drpramodpsawant’s claim of 100% vaccination? It’s truly a shame for every Goan to be represented by a CM who thrives on lies, #falsepromises and cheap publicity.”
