Verna:  In a bid to bridge gap between public and police, Verna police took up an unique initiative.

Verna Police has continued its activities to reach to the public and to minimize the gap between the Police and the public and in this connection on 20.02.2021 at 9.00 hrs at Marina School ground an exhibition football match was played between the Verna Police Station Officials and the citizens of Verna/Marina School teachers.

The match went to the nail biting finish with 4-4 goals each and the result was declared with the penalty shoot out which was won by Verna Police.

As per PI Shri Sherif Jaques such type of police public engagement will definitely help to minimize the gap and develop a healthy relation and a better society.
