Calangute police have arrested two foreign nationals namely 1. Mr. Kikabi Doreen, age 40 yrs, N/o Uganda and 2. Mr. Charles Chidiebere Onuchukwu, age- 33 yrs, N/o Nigeria for illegally staying in Goa – India.
As per PI Jivba Dalvi while staff were performing patrolling in evening around 06:00 pm in the in the jurisdiction they noticed the two foreigners moving at Baga, Calangute – Goa.
They were both inquired about their passport and visa during which they informed that were not in possession of any passport , visa or any travel document.
Accordingly both of them have been booked for offence under section 3(2)(a) and 6(a) of Passport Entry into India Rules, section 6(a) of Passport Act, section 7(3)(iii) of Foreigners Order act 1946 R/w Section 14 of Foreigners Act 1948 and two seperate offences have been registered against them on 09/11/2018.
The accused foreign nationals have been placed under arrest and are currently lodged in police lock up.
