Tika Utsav 3.0 from Sunday in Goa

Panaji: Goa government on Friday announced that Tika Utsav 3.0 will begin in the state from coming Sunday onwards inoculating all the population between 18-44 years of age.

In his public address, Chief Minister Pramod Sawant said that 87 camps would be set up across all the panchayats and municipalities to vaccinate the population between 18-44 years of age.

He said that the state has set a target of July 30, 2021 to vaccinate all the people in 18-44 years of age in the state.

Sawant said that the people “need not rush to the vaccination centre” as the timetable for each of the panchayat and municipalities would be announced by the state government.

The chief minister stated that the beneficiaries can ‘walk-in’ to get vaccinated while 250 vaccines would be administered every day per centre (camp).
