Panaji: All Goa Small Scale Responsible Fisheries Union (AGSSRFU) on Friday submitted a memorandum raising concerns over grant of petrol subsidies and out board subsidies to fishers in the state.
In the letter submitted to State Minister of Fisheries it stated that petrol subsidies have not been disbursed to fishers since 2017. It also stated that subsidies sanctioned for outboard motors on canoes has still not be disbursed to entitled fisheries.
The AGSSRFU have urged to take their demands into consideration immediately and solve their problems at earliest.
