Seva and Samarpan : BJP Goa’s mega plan to celebrate PM Modi’s 71st Birthday

 Panaji : Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Goa to, mark Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s “two decades in electoral politics”, will organise a 20-day “Seva and Samarpan” campaign comprising various welfare activities that will start on his birthday on September 17 and conclude on October 7.
BJP Goa state president Sadanand Shet Tanavade while addressing the press conference today said starting from 17th September which is PM Modi’s birthday BJP karyakartas and leaders will have  a series of activities till 7th October.
Convenor of the series of programmes that will be organised for 20 days will be Damu Naik and co- convenor  Gorakh Madrekar. Tanavade informed that 40,000 post cards will be mailed  to PM Modi on his birthday and the responsibility to conduct this activity successfully from Goa is given to Convenor Sheetal Naik and Co- convenor Ranjita Pai.
Environment related activities like cleaning the water bodies and tree plantation will also be undertaken during this period by Convenor of the programme Girish Uskaiakar and Co-convenor Prabhakar Gaokar.
Sharmad Raiturkar has been appointed as the Convenor and Akhil Parrikar- Co- convenor for carrying out health activities like blood donation camp, vaccination camp etc.
Fruit distribution and providing ration to the poor will be carried out by Kishor Asnodkar , Anita Kavlekar. Publicity activity- with respect to publicising the Central Govt scheme will also be held during the 20 day period by holding exhibitions in north and south Goa districts by Convenor Premanand Mhambre and Co-convenor Sanjeev Desai.
Media activities like panel discussion will be organised by  a team led by Siddharth Kuncalinekar.
Besides these activities Pt Deendayal Upadhyaya’s birth anniversary would also be celebrated on 25th September and on 2nd October Gandhi Jayanti  would be celebrated by organising cleanliness drives across the state. “Those who are employed and are doing khadi business would also be commemorated,” said Tanavade.
