Panaji: The Goa Real Estate Regulations Authority (RERA) has issued notices to seven builders for non-registration of their projects under the act.
The notice is issued based on the complaint filed by social activist Kashinath Shetye. The builders are asked to submit their reply on or before October 5.
The notice is issued to Empire Heritage, Valpoi, Mahalaxmi Elite-II, Ponda, Golden Sands I Sapna Park, Porvorim, Golden Height II Porvorim, Surya Residency Nagesh Bandora Ponda, Empire Village I and II at Banastarim, Ponda.
The notices state that project proponents have advertised, marketed, booked, sold and offered to sell the projects without getting registered under the RERA Act and Rules.
