Minister for Social Welfare, Subhash Phal Dessai, inaugurated the renovated Hindu crematoriums at Gunbeabhat Bamonsai and Gunjemol Smashanbhoomi, Sanguem, under the MLA LAD Scheme.
Present at the occasion were Sanjay Walavalukar, Chairman of Vidya Prabodhini, Archana Gaonkar, Chairperson of Sanguem Municipal Council, the Chief Officer, and other councilors.
This renovation project aims to provide a dignified and peaceful space for the community to perform last rites, promoting community development and welfare.
