Adv. Aires Rodrigues has sought an immediate probe into the selection done last month of Mr. Raymond Filipe Fernandes son of Goa’s Deputy Speaker Isidore Fernandes for the post of Awal Karkun by the North Goa Collectorate.

In a letter to Chief Secretary Parimal Rai, Adv Rodrigues has stated that the minimum qualification required for the post of Awal Karkun is graduation and that Raymond Fernandes had submitted a degree from a Lucknow based University.

Pointing out that it was a known fact that Raymond Fernandes who was a student of Red Rosary High School in Miramar had failed the SSC exam, Adv. Rodrigues has in his complaint stated stated that there was enough reason to believe that the certificates of educational qualifications submitted by Raymond Fernandes are forged and fabricated.

While demanding that an inquiry be ordered into the veracity and authenticity of the certificates submitted by Raymond Fernandes, Adv. Rodrigues has also sought that the Deputy Speaker’s son be evaluated by the Goa Public Service Commission to ascertain his Intelligence quotient.
