Bicholim: The increasing popularity of social worker Santosh Kumar Sawant in Mayem constituency seems to be disturbing sitting BJP MLA Pravin Zantye.
Zantye in an unprovoked attack has asked Goa Forward Party President Vijai Sardesai to stick to ‘coalition dharma.’
Sardesai has been supporting Sawant in Mayem constituency and has even hinted at fielding him in this constituency.
“It is not right for a leaders to make such statements which could destroy the principles of the alliance,” Zantye said.
He was also upset that Sardesai toured Mayem constituency without inviting him.
