The Aam Aadmi party today said that large number of polling staff drawn from institutions such as schools and colleges had been directed by their managements to report for duties in their respective institutions immediately following the polling day in violation of the ECI guidelines that allows a day’s off to them. Aap General Secretary Pradeep Padgaonkar said that it was unfair to such staff to be denied a day off following the poll, after doing duty of close to 30 hours. He said that it was also discriminatory as similarly placed government servants were availing such an off day without even asking their superiors. Padgaonkar said that the CEO Goa should clarify this matter
