Bambolim: The NSUI Goa along with final year engineering students visited the Goa University to ask why there is delay in declaring final year results of engineering students of few students.

Engineering exams has been concluded on 16th August 2021 , its been almost 3 moths still their results are pending to be declared .

NSUI Goa and Students of Goa treats Goa University as Temple of Knowledge where they sets rules and regulations for the university and students and as per the ordinance of GU university it clearly says that results should be declared within 8 weeks after completion of examinations, said NSUI Goa chief Naushad Chowdhari.

Here GU is clearly violating its own rule of the ordinance which clearing indicates the pathetic situation GU is going through, he said.

“It is sad to see the pathetic situation of Goa University as there is no one to address the students issue “.

Controller of Examinations (CoE) is on leave , Registrar has not taken official charge yet , there is no Assistant Registrar for Professional course .

GU is become a blunder , results of this is seen in the All In Ranking  of NIRF where are university stands at 96th rank, he said.

GU collects the exams fees from all the students once the exams are scheduled and if a student fails to pay the exams fees on time , GU charge extra fees of 295 per day from the students. This same  rule should be applied to GU now as they have failed miserably to declare the results within the time limit of 8 weeks and GU should pay the penalty from October till date to all the students who’s results are pending, the NSUI said.
