Panaji: Leader of Opposition Digambar Kamat on Wednesday reacting to the statement made by chief minister on coal handling demanded resolution capping of coal handling at Mormugao Port.
“Let Chief Minister Dr Pramod Sawant accept my demand for convening immediate Assembly session and let us pass a Resolution on Capping of Coal Handling at Mormugoa Port,” Kamat stated.
“Let all 40 MLA’s walk the talk to protect Identity of Goa and environment,” Kamat added.
Chief minister Pramod Sawant, who visited the national capital on Tuesday and met Union shipping and ports minister Mansukh Mandaviya, had said that the union minister has assured to reducing coal handling at Mormugao Port.
