Panaji: Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar is recovering and would return to the State from All India Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in New Delhi where he is admitted, Goa BJP chief Vinay Tendulkar said.
“Chief Minister will come back soon. We are not able to tell you the exact date when he will arrive,” Tendulkar told reporters on Saturday.
Tendulkar said that chief minister’s health is improving and the local leaders will go to Delhi next week to meet him.
Earlier during the day, Public Works Department (PWD) Minister Sudin Dhavalikar had said that Parrikar was clearing all the administrative files from the hospital.
Speaking to reporters at the sidelines of signing of Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Portugal Government on water supply and
sanitation, Dhavalikar had said “CM is clearing all the files from the hospital”.
“Whatever files are being sent, CM is clearing them within two-three days. No files are pending,” the minister had said.
He further had said that as per directions of Chief Minister, the cabinet members will hold review meeting of the administration on every Wednesday and the report will be placed before Chief Minister.
“We all Ministers are capable of holding the charge. We are handling all the issues of the State,” he said adding ‘the administrative work is monitored by State Chief Secretary”.
