Miramar: Independent MLA Rohan Khaunte said that former chief minister Manohar Parrikar built bridges with the people. He said that the current leaders of BJP have not learnt that capability from Parrikar.
Khaunte paid tributes to belated soul at Miramar on Tuesday.
“Today, we miss Manohar Parrikar for what he has donen for the state of Goa. One thing is that he had always built bridges with the people,” he said.
“The BJP leaders now should learn this ability of his,” Khaunte said.
He said that he personally shared love and hate relationship with Parrikar but learnt lot of things from him.
Khaunte pointed out that Atal Sethu which was inaugurated a year back, is still awaiting completion of its fly overs, which needs to be taken up on priority basis. #Parrikar #Goa #MLA
