Panaji: The much-anticipated seventh edition of Parikrama, Parikrama 0.7, commenced with The Conclave: Cerebrate Ideas on 31st August 2024 at Rajiv Gandhi Kala Mandir, Ponda. The Orientation Program was met with great enthusiasm as participants gathered to explore the world of research and audiovisual creativity.
The event began with a welcome address by the President, setting the stage for a day filled with insightful orientations and discussions. Adv. Surel Tilve gave an engaging talk on the theme of Biodiversity, igniting thought-provoking conversations among the attendees.
Following the talk, the Orientation sessions for the competitions took place. Jeetendra Shikerkar briefed participants on the process and expectations for the Documentary category. Dr. Hemant Ayya led the session on Research Essay writing, providing participants with essential guidelines for research-based submissions. Heramb Naik presented a detailed introduction to Infographics, showcasing the importance of visual communication and the use of AI in today’s world. Following this, RJ Uday Chari conducted an interactive session for the Story Teller competition, inspiring creativity among the participants.
President Yugank Naik conducted the Open Discussion session and The Secretary Urvashi Naik delivered the Vote of Thanks.
Parikrama 0.7, through The Conclave, continues to celebrate and promote creativity, innovation, and intellectual exploration. With the high level of participation and enthusiasm seen at the Orientation Program, expectations for this year’s event have significantly risen. The next phase, Zero Fest, will take place on 1st and 2nd February 2025, promising more excitement and artistic expression.
