Bambolim: Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar was taken to state-run Goa Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) near here this morning.
Chief Minister’s Office has claimed that Parrikar was taken on a “routine check up.”
“Hon’ble CM undergoes routine checkup at Goa Medical College,” his personal secretary Rupesh Kamat said in a statement issued here.
Sources in GMCH stated that Parrikar was there at the hospital for more than an hour during which various tests were conducted on him. “The details of the tests conducted and checking done are kept confidential. It was more like a routine check up,” a senior official said.
