Saligao: Goa Forward Party MLA and RDA minister Jayesh Salgaonkar held meeting with the officials to address issue of Guirim creek.
Salogankar who has been working overtime to solve problems of his constituency has taken extra steps to ensure that there is no flooding during the rains.
After being pointed out that the mud in Guirim creek can lead to the problems during rains, he called for the meeting of officials.
Jayesh tweeted: “Held an urgent meeting with Highway Authority officials, WRD officials, PWD engineers, Guirim panchayat members and locals to address issue of Guirim creek. Directed the contractor to immediately remove the mud dumped and clean creek to avoid flooding during monsoon.”
