Panaji: The State cabinet today resolved to change the nomenclature of department of environment to department of environment and climate change.
The cabinet directed the GAD department to make the necessary changes to the Business of Government of Goa (Allocation) Rules to bring the change into effect.
The department of environment, was earlier bifurcated from department of science and technology.
It is headed by Minister Nilesh Cabral.
