One IRB PC was arrested by Mapusa Police for outraging modesty of Women and further threatening her husband.
As per SDPO Mapusa Jivba Dalvi a Lady from Bardez had approached Mapusa Police Station with a complaint that on 01/09/2023 evening time IRB PC Suraj Shailendra Saxena along with his Friend Mr. Babit Naik stalked her over some personal issue in order to foster the personal contacts with her and intentionally followed her and further abused her and her husband with filthy words, threatened her and her husband with dire consequence.
On receipt of the complaint an FIR u/s 504, 354-D, 509, 506 (ii) IPC was registered.
The complainant also gave the video clippings regarding the entire incident happened and taken into consideration previous history and conduct of the said IRB PC which were narrated by the complainant, Mapusa Police immediately nabbed the accused person Suraj Shailendra Saxsena of Chimbel, Tiswadi and arrested him on 06/09/2023. The search of other accused is on.
The Police Department will also submit report against said IRB PC for involvement in such Offence.
Further investigation is in progress under the supervision of SP North Nidhin Valsan, IPS.
