Panaji : PWD Minister Deepak Pauskar has assured that in coming three to four months all Goan household will get water supply.
Pauskar said, “Currently Goa needs 600 MLD water per day however only 525 MLD water is supplied, we are currently working on a plant and in 3-4 months we will be able to supply more 70-75 MLD water per day”.
“Since there is 75 MLD water shortage per day we have made a schedule and we supply water via water tankers,” said Pauskar.
The PWD minister also informed that his department has replaced pipelines which were 40 years old. “We are now in final stage, we have increased the capacity of pipes,” said Pauskar.
