Governor of Goa, Chief Minister extend warm wishes on occasion of Ram navami

Panaji: Chief Minister Dr Pramod P Sawant has extended his greetings and warm wishes to the people of Goa on the holy occasion of Ram Navami which is celebrated today on 21st April 2021.
CM Sawant said in his message“Ram Navami is celebrated to mark the birth of Lord Rama with gaiety and religious fervour across the country by the Hindu Community. Lord Rama is an embodiment of peace, harmony and righteousness. Let us celebrate this festival this year with adherence to Covid safety protocols on account of the rapid surge in Covid-19 cases across the country”.  “May this Ram Navami celebrations help to consolidate the bonds of unity and amity among people of different faith and usher in peace and prosperity to all,” he added.
The Governor of Goa, His Excellency Bhagat Singh Koshyari also extended his heartiest greetings and warm wishes to the people of Goa on Ram Navami. “The celebration of Ram Navami is an opportunity for all of us to reflect on Lord Rama’s glorious personality. He lived his life in accordance with the principles of Dharma. He embodied all the virtues that should characterize man. He was an ideal son, an ideal brother, ideal husband, an ideal friend and ideal king. It is because of his perfect character that his rule came to be known as Ram Rajya in which the rule of righteousness prevailed. On this auspicious occasion, let us dedicate ourselves to values of truth, purity, honesty, humility and righteousness,” he concluded
